Our customer uses a fleet of ~ 30 trolleys to handle heavy medical imaging systems for his manufacturing flow.

In order to load the systems onto the trolley, a large side bar has to be dismounted.

But during loading, the trolleys bows under the mass of the system, making it impossible to reinstall the side bar.

ZYMECA designs a large stroke extender to counter the deformation of the trolley.

Thus reinstalled the side bar is possible without any risk for the operator, and with no costly design change on the trolley fleet.

Without this solution, all the trolleys would have been added stiffeners, for a cost 40 times higher. Besides, trolleys would have been temporarily unavailable during this upgrade.

By manufacturing a single tool, the issue is resolved on the entire trolley fleet without any costly design change on them.
